The secondary winding of the transformer is made up of kraft paper covered flat or foil conductors; electrolytic copper or aluminium material because the rated current and temperature coefficient of secondary winding are high than the primary winding.
For primary windings, aluminium or copper enamelled wire is used. Between each layer of the winding, high quality insulating paper is used and in complete layer of the primary winding there are sufficient quantity of oil gaps to transfer the heat from winding to the insulating oil.
