MAGNETIC CIRCUIT (CORE) :
Cold rolled grain oriented steel sheets with higher magnetic current carriage
capacity having a thickness of M5 0.30 mm are used in our cores, which
are manufactured in the form of type E with the appropriate methods;
and iron losses in our products and voice level is kept low by this
way.
TANK :
Our transformer tanks, on which imperviousness and endurance tests
have been executed in accordance with TS 267 product standard, are
manufactured in two types: with radiator or with corrugated wall. Our products,
on which Temperature Increase Tests have been executed, are equipped
with radiators/corrugated walls of appropriate size and quantity to provide
sufficient cooling.

WINDING :
I-Primary Windings:
Layer spaces of our high voltage windings, which are winded with round
enamelled covered copper bobbin wires for lower currents and with
flat copper conductors with paper isolation for higher currents, are
isolated using insulating materials having various thickness and types,
manufactured from pure cellulose.
II-Secondary Windings:
These are winded by using flat copper conductors with paper isolation.

INSTALLATION :
Our windings are combined together with cores by our trained operators
under control of experienced engineers and these are coupled in accordance
with the connection group. After all the required tests are executed
on the transformer, drying process is executed in isolation drying
furnaces. Transformers are filled with isolation oil of high quality,
which a separation process (regain humidity) under -1 Atm environment
in vacuum chamber is executed, after isolation drying process.

PAINT :
After the sides of tank, which are cleaned using chemical methods,
are lined with epoxy material, they are painted with RAL 7033 coloured
final layer industrial paint in order not to experience the negativity
like rust and corrosion, which may originate from the conditions of
the facility, on our manufactures.

TESTS EXECUTED ON OUR TRANSFORMERS :
Quality
means the appropriateness to the pre-planned conditions. Therefore,
all ELKIMA branded products are controlled by experienced engineers
and technicians in order to provide the required criteria.

All the ELKIMA branded transformers are manufactured
in accordance with all requirements of TS 267 EN 60076 product
standards. Therefore, our products are subjected to all routine
tests required by related standards; and also typical and specific
tests are performed in accordance with customer demands. All tests
are performed with computer support.
Routine Tests
a- Measurement of winding resistance
b- Measurement of voltage turning ratio and control of phase sliding.
c- Measurement of short-circuit impedance and loss in load.
d- Measurement of no-load loss and current
e- Seperate-source withstand test
f- Induced overvoltage withstand test
g-Measurement of insulation resistance
(Tests will be applied to all manufactured transformers.) Type tests
a- Temperature rise test
b-Measurement of transformer sound level
c- Full wave impulse voltage test
d- Non-leakage test
e- Measurement of paint thickness
( Tests will be applied to one product representing the whole party.)
Specific tests
a- Dielectric specific tests
b- Measurement of the capacities of windings within themselves and against ground.
c- Measurement of zero-sequence impedance in three phased transformers.
d- Demonstration of the ability to withstand the dynamic effects of short circuit. (It is applied
abroad)
e- Measurement of no-load current harmonics.
f- Measurement of windings' insulation resistance against ground and measurement of loss factor of
insulation system capacity.
( Except 3-a, tests will be applied in our factory in consideration of payment. Short circuit resistance test can be applied in an independent laboratory. These certificates are extant for our prior manufactures.)
Transformer oil tests
a- Measurement of dielectric strenght.
b- Nomination of colour count
c- Measurement of water quantity
d- Measurement of neutralisation value ( acid quantity)
e- Measurement of interfacial tension
f-Measurement of power factor
( Tests will be applied to a sample taken from a transformer representing the whole party.)
